Inspect the fuel hoses for damage and fuel leakage. If any defects are found, the fuel hoses must be replaced.

Remove the washers (1), starter idle gear no. 1 (2)

Thermostat inspection
Inspect the thermostat in the following procedures:
remove the thermostat. Refer to “thermostat removal and installation” .
Inspect the thermostat pellet for signs of cracking.
Test the thermostat at the bench for control action.
