Suzuki GSX-R 1000 Service Manual: Vehicle identification number
The frame serial number or V.I.N. (Vehicle identification number) “a” is stamped on the right side of the steering head tube. The engine serial number “b” is located on the lower crankcase. These numbers are required especially for registering the machine and ordering spare parts.

Conrod small end I.D.
Measure the conrod small end inside diameter using the
small bore gauge.
If the conrod small end inside diameter exceeds the
service limit, replace the conrod.

Adjust the headlight beam, both horizontally and
vertically.

to adjust the headlight beam, adjust the
beam horizontally first, then vertically.
