Check the brake disc for damage or cracks and measure
the thickness using the micrometer.
Replace the brake disc if the thickness is less than the
service limit or if defect is found.

Gearshift shaft / gearshift cam plate removal

Removal
Remove the engine sprocket cover. Refer to “engine sprocket removal and
installation” in section 3a .
Remove the clutch components. Refer to “clutch removal” in section 5c .
Remove the snap ring (1) and washer (2) from the
gearshift shaft.

Crankcase breather (pcv) cover inspection
Inspect the crankcase breather (pcv) cover in the
following procedures:
remove the crankcase breather (pcv) cover. Refer to “crankcase breather
(pcv) hose / reed valve / cover removal and installation” .
Inspect the crankcase breather (pcv) cover for
