Suzuki GSX-R 1000 Service Manual: Cooling fan relay inspection

Inspect the fan relay in the following procedures:

  1.  remove the frame covers. Refer to exterior parts removal and installation in section 9d (page 9d- 6).
  2.  Remove the cooling fan relay (1).

  1. First check the insulation between a and b terminals with tester. Then apply 12 volts to c and d terminals, (+) to c and () to d, and check the continuity between a and b.

    If there is no continuity, replace it with a new one.

Special tool : 0990025008 (multi circuit tester

  1. Reinstall the removed parts.
