Suzuki GSX-R 1000 Owners Manual: Drive chain
This motorcycle has a master link type drive chain. We recommend that you take your motorcycle to an authorized suzuki dealer if the drive chain needs replacing.
The condition and adjustment of the drive chain should be checked each day before you ride. Always follow the guidelines for inspecting and servicing the chain.

When inspecting the chain, look
for the following:
loose pins
damaged rollers
dry or rusted links
kinked or binding links
excessive wear
improper chain adj ...

Fuel and oil recommendation
Fuel (for USA and Canada)
Use only unleaded gasoline of at least 90 pump octane
(r/2 + m/2).
Gasoline containing mtbe (meltyl tertiary butyl ether),
less than 10% ethanol, or less than 5% methanol with
appropriate cosolvents and corrosion inhibitor is
permissible.
