This motorcycle is primarily intended to carry small items when you are not riding with a passenger. Follow the guidelines below to carry a passenger or cargo:

balance the load between the left and right side of the motorcycle and fasten it securely.
Place cargo weight as close to the center of the motorcycle as possible.
Do not attach large or heavy items to the handlebars, front forks or rear fender.
Check that both tires are properly inflated to the specified tire pressure for your loading conditions. Refer to page 7-31.
Improperly loading your motorcycle can reduce your ability to balance and steer the motorcycle.
You should ride at reduced speeds, less than 130 km/h (80 mph), when the cargo is loaded or accessory is fitted.
Adjust suspension setting as necessary.
