Suzuki GSX-R 1000 Service Manual: Oil pressure switch inspection

Inspect the oil pressure switch in the following procedures:

Note

before inspecting the oil pressure switch, check if the engine oil level is correct. Refer to engine oil and filter replacement in section 0b .

  1. Remove the left side cowling. Refer to exterior parts removal and installation in section 9d .
  2.  Disconnect the oil pressure switch lead wire from the oil pressure switch.
  3.  Inspect the oil pressure switch for continuity with the tester. If any abnormality is found, replace the oil pressure switch with a new one.
