Suzuki GSX-R 1000 Service Manual: Clutch cable removal and installation

Removal

  1. Remove the left side cowling. Refer to “exterior parts removal and installation” in section 9d .
  2.  Disconnect the clutch cable from the clutch lever.

    Refer to “handlebar removal and installation” in section 6b .

  3.  Remove the clutch cable as shown in the throttle cable routing diagram. Refer to “throttle cable routing diagram” in section 1d .

Installation

  1. Install the clutch cable as shown in the throttle cable routing diagram. Refer to “throttle cable routing diagram” in section 1d .
  2.  Reinstall the removed parts.
