Precautions for suspension
Refer to “general precautions” in section 00 (page 00-1).
All
suspensions, bolts and nuts are an important part in that it could affect the performance of vital parts. They must be tightened to the specified torque periodically and if the suspension effect is lost, replace it with a new one. |

Exhaust pipe bolt and muffler bolt inspection
Tighten exhaust pipe bolts and muffler bolts
initially at 1 000 km (600 miles, 2 months) and every
12 000 km (7 500 miles, 24 months) thereafter
Check the exhaust pipe bolts and muffler bolts to the
specified torque.
