Suzuki GSX-R 1000 Service Manual: Headlight removal and installation
Removal
- Remove the body cowling assembly. Refer to “exterior parts removal and installation” in section 9d .
- Remove the air intake pipes (1). Refer to “exterior parts removal and installation” in section 9d .
- Remove the wiring harness no. 2 (2) By disconnecting the couplers and clamps.
- Remove the intake pipe covers (3).
- Remove the intake cover (4).
- Remove the body cowling (5).

Installation
Installation is in the reverse order of removal. Pay attention to the following point:
- route the wiring harness properly. Refer to “wiring harness routing diagram” in section 9a .
- After installing, be sure to inspect the headlight beam.
