Transmission installation
Install the transmission in the reverse order of removal.
Pay attention to the following points:
Bearing and oil seal
Caution
replace the removed bearings and oil seals
with new ones ...
Countershaft gear / driveshaft gear
disassembly and assembly
Refer to “transmission removal” and “transmission installation” .

Rear shock absorber bearing removal and installation

Remove the rear shock absorber. Refer to “rear shock absorber removal

Remove the spacer (1).
Remove the rear shock absorber bearing with the
special tool.

Your motorcycle comes equipped
with ngk cr9e or denso
u27esr-n spark plugs. To determine
if the standard spark plug is
right for your usage, check the
color of the plug's porcelain center
electrode insulator after motorcycle
operation. A light brown
color indicates that the plug is correct.
