Transmission installation
Install the transmission in the reverse order of removal.
Pay attention to the following points:
Bearing and oil seal
Caution
replace the removed bearings and oil seals
with new ones ...
Countershaft gear / driveshaft gear
disassembly and assembly
Refer to “transmission removal” and “transmission installation” .
Disassembly
Caution
identify the position of each removed part.
Organize the parts in their respective groups

Remove the oil pan, oil pressure regulator and oil strainer. Refer to
“oil pan / oil pressure regulator / oil strainer removal and installation” .

Gearshift shaft oil seal / bearing removal and installation
Removal
Remove the gearshift shaft. Refer to “gearshift shaft / gearshift cam
plate removal and installation” .
Remove the gearshift shaft oil seal (1).
Remove the bearings (2) and (3) with the special
tools.

Note
the oil pan/oil strainer/oil pressure regulator
cannot be serviced with the engine installed
in the frame.

Remove the engine assembly from the frame. Refer to “engine assembly
