Suzuki GSX-R 1000 Service Manual: Cooling fan relay inspection

Inspect the fan relay in the following procedures:

  1.  remove the frame covers. Refer to “exterior parts removal and installation” in section 9d (page 9d- 6).
  2.  Remove the cooling fan relay (1).

  1. First check the insulation between “a” and “b” terminals with tester. Then apply 12 volts to “c” and “d” terminals, (+) to “c” and (–) to “d”, and check the continuity between “a” and “b”.

    If there is no continuity, replace it with a new one.

  1. Reinstall the removed parts.
